Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Information you submit: name, phone, email, ZIP, and any notes you provide via the intake form or by phone/email.
- Quoting / application data: when you proceed to a quote or application, additional information is collected as required by the carrier (date of birth, health history, household income for ACA subsidies, etc.).
- Site analytics: anonymous page-view counts via Umami (privacy-respecting analytics — no cookies, no IP storage).
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and reach you back.
- To request quotes from insurance carriers on your behalf.
- To complete an application if you decide to apply for coverage.
- To comply with insurance recordkeeping requirements (Florida statutes require maintaining records of producer-client interactions).
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information to third parties.
- We do not share your information with marketing data brokers.
- We do not use your information for advertising targeting.
- We do not send SMS marketing without explicit opt-in.
Who we share with (only when necessary)
- Insurance carriers we shop on your behalf — only the information they need to quote or underwrite.
- Service providers required to complete your transaction (e-signature platforms, payment processors). Each is contractually bound to protect your information.
- Government / regulators when required by law (e.g., Florida DFS, IRS for ACA tax credit verification).
Health information (HIPAA)
Health-related information collected during quoting or application is treated as Protected Health Information (PHI). It is shared only with the carrier(s) you have authorized us to approach for a quote, and their underwriters or service providers necessary to process your application.
Cookies
This site uses no first-party cookies. Site analytics (Umami) are cookie-less. Some embedded resources (e.g., Google Fonts) may set cookies controlled by their respective providers.
Your rights (Florida residents)
You have the right to: (a) request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate information, (c) request deletion (subject to insurance recordkeeping requirements that may require us to retain certain records). Email jonlynchfinancialgroup@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" to exercise any of these.
Data retention
Inquiry data is retained for 24 months unless you become a client, in which case Florida insurance recordkeeping rules apply (typically 5+ years for policy-related records).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top.
